About KIDTHINK Children’s Mental Health Centre Inc.

KIDTHINK is a Manitoba-based, non-profit children’s mental health clinic located in the heart of Winnipeg. Our mission is to improve the lives of children and their families by providing timely, mental health care tailored to the needs of each child and their support system.

We specialize in evidence-based treatment and assessment services for children 12 years and under, emphasizing strength-based, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed approaches. Our commitment extends beyond the child to include parent coaching, mental health support for caregivers, and outreach services to enhance the child’s community connections.

At KIDTHINK, we’re proud to be a creative, innovative, and forward-thinking organization. By joining our Board of Directors, you become part of a group that shares the responsibility of ensuring children can access the resources they need to promote health, well-being, and optimal development, while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families in our communities.

KIDTHINK is committed to advancing equity and addressing systemic barriers to participation. We align our practices with the Manitoba Human Rights Code, the Accessibility for Manitobans Act, and the principles of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada: Calls to Action. Our commitment extends to creating opportunities for underrepresented groups and ensuring everyone is treated with dignity and respect. We actively encourage applications from individuals who reflect the diversity of the communities we serve, including those self-identify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit; members of racialized communities or Persons of Colour; 2SLGBTQQIA+ individuals; and/or persons living with disabilities. Accommodations are available upon request to support equitable participation.
