Please sign up for the course before starting the lesson.

In this lesson, you will learn about the effects of ADHD on visual imagery/non-verbal working memory and internal speech/verbal working memory. Dr. Klassen will explain the challenges faced by individuals with ADHD, such as difficulties in time management and retaining information while performing tasks. To assist children with ADHD, she will share techniques for externalizing time and off-loading working memory content, which include employing visual reminders, creating "when-then" plans, and breaking tasks into smaller, more manageable steps.
