It is not surprising that children might not want to go to therapy. Therapy is hard work requiring children to take risks in sharing their worries and exposing their vulnerabilities. Therapy often involves changing unhealthy or unhelpful behaviour and learning new skills which takes effort and can sometimes be uncomfortable.
